당초 2월 23일에 발매 예정이었던 에리카 바두 (Erykah Badu) 의 신작 "New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh"

제이 일렉트로니카 (Jay Electronica) 의 아이를 출산한 것을 이유로 발매일이 3월 16일로 연기되었다.

에리카의 이번 앨범은 전작 "New Amerykah Part One : 4th World War" 를 따르는 작품으로서 전작이 좌뇌의 모습이었다면,

- it was more socially political and my thought process was more analytical - 이번 작품은 우뇌의 역할로서 에리카의 감정적인 면

사랑(romance)과 관계(relationship)에 초점을 맞춘 앨범이 될거라고 한다. 사운드적으로는 아날로그 악기들의 사용이 많으며

악기의 레코딩이 폭 넓게 사용된 포옹과도 같은 느낌의 앨범이라고 한다. 데뷰 앨범 Baduizm을 연상시키는 작품이 될거라고

당초 수록 예정이었던 릴 웨인 (Lil Wayne) 참여의 "Jump Up In The Air" 수록은 유출 문제로 인해서 보류 되었다.
